Unused merchandise in new condition may be returned for 30 days from date of purchase, UNLESS item is marked "Final Sale" (see below) or is jewelry or apparel. Proof of purchase is required.
Jewelry, hats, totes, bags, scarves and apparel that are unworn may be exchanged for store credit within 30 days unless marked "Final Sale." No returns are accepted on these items.
No refunds or charge credits issued without store receipt. If you don't have the receipt, and we don't recognize the item as originally purchased at Ann's, we will not issue a refund or store credit. We do offer gift receipts at time of purchase for your convenience.
Cash purchases may be refunded by check which will be mailed to you within 10 days of valid return.
Restocking fee may be applied if item is returned without original packaging or instructions, or if packaging is damaged or incomplete. Consider that the item will be returned to stock and the next customer wants the complete packaging for their gift, just as you did.
Gift wrap value is $8.50 and may be deducted from amount of return for valid returns if free gift wrap was given at time of original purchase.
Some gifts are always marked "Final Sale" and may not be returned nor exchanged. You will be alerted if your purchase is one of these and asked to sign the receipt acknowledging your understanding of our policy. Unless marked "As Is," these are not defective items but gifts that require careful handling to preserve the finish or protect the mechanism. You can be sure the special gift in this category that you purchased was not previously purchased and returned by someone else!
Discounted sale merchandise for clearance purposes is final sale. These may not be returned, exchanged, refunded or credited. Gift wrap is not free for discounted sale items.
Gift cards may not be redeemed for cash. Ann's gift cards and due bills do not expire nor do they accrue charges.
Promotional items and their related purchases (such as gift-with-purchase promotions) may not returned or exchanged. Promotional items have no "cash" value.
Merchandise found to be defective from the manufacturer follows a different policy. If we overlooked damage that happened before you bought the item, we will work with you to make it right through repair or replacement.
Returns for items purchased online can be made in our store and follow the policy described on our website.
